Complaint Details
On 21.10.2014, I along with my brother had been to Brand Factory, Parklane, secunderabad (A division of Future Lifestyle Fashions Ltd.,. For purchase of some readymade Shirts…I was attracted to the offers available at the stores wherein one of the offer was Buy 1 and get 1 Free in a particular brand, wherein the generally the higher priced one get billed at MRP and lower priced one is offered for free.
Whereas in this case, they discounted both the shirts for 50% and charged both with VAT @ 5%. This clear indication that they are stating something and doing something.
Example Scenario 1 +1 Free
Both Shirts Price remains same i.e., MRP 895.00. wherein I was supposed to pay MRP 895.00 for 1 and get the other 1 Free.

Both Shirts Price remains same i.e., MRP 895.00. wherein they discounted it @ 50 % = 447.50 and Charged VAT @ 5% (22.38)= 469.88 for each and ended up paying 939.76. Thus , Charging me extra of Rs. 50.00 for the transaction. Like this they are doing it will all the consumers. Assuming the turnover of brand Factory which runs into crores of rupees every day. Imagine the magnitude of Amount they overcharge their customers and make a windfall profit from unfair trade practice.
And, also when asked for a complaint register to lodge a complaint…the customer service desk said that they do not have a complaint register and asked me to log a complaint in the feedback register…I fail to understand how can such a big corporate company does not have a process for a customer to lodge a complaint (Complaint Register) instead ask to write it down in feedback register. Do they not understand the simple English what is meant by a Complaint Register and what is meant by Feedback Register?
Hope this complaint would be heard upon and necessary action is taken against this type of companies.
