This complaint petition is being filed on behalf of Surendra Prasad Rana S/o Shri yadeo Rana, age 30 residing at unit no. 20, Hariyali Industrial Estate, Vikhroli (w), Mumbai 400083
referred hereafter as Complainant, and is as follows:
That the opposite party No.(1) is a ASC (Authorized service center), engaged in the business of Authorized Mobile service center for Micromax mobile handset & (2) is a company of handset which brand name is micromax
That the 4th September 2013 I purchased mobile handset i.e. Brand-Micromax, Model-Doodle A240(W), imei no.– 9113162550057343, bill/invoice - No.:0004084 of INR 19990 from Ezone (A divison of Future Retail Ltd. Mumbai-83 ) Annexure – A
In the month of June 2014, said Mobile handset has been getting Problem on its Display while operating, then I submitted handset to micromax authorized service center (M/s Cellq Communication Pvt Ltd) on 17th June 2014, they issued me job sheet stating (physical broken) and quote me to pay INR2000. Annexure – B
Also refuse me to explain proper logic and demand me to payment while handset was under warranty. Then I emailed to Micromax Company regarding this issue, micromax mailed me that again check with service center.
on 1st September 2014 I again submitted handset to same service center, this time they issued me another job sheet, problem with (mechanically broken) Annexure – C
for same problem and this time they assured me that mechanically broken handset will get repaired under warranty within 20 working days. After 20 days they again demand me to pay INR2000. I not paid and goes Ezone Store to request him genuinely involve for said complain. (Also Ezone didn’t find any physically issue in my handset) & assure me to help this concern in few days.
Date of 17th oct 2014 Finally service center replied on email to Ezone & me i.e. The Handset physically broken. On date 18th October 2014 me &one of Ezone staff, visit cellq communication & get back my handset.
That the on date 03/11/14 opposite party 1. M/s cellq communication pvt.ltd & 2. Micromax informatics ltd. I send him Reminder cum Legal Notice by registered post but due to shifted a new address by M/s cellq communication notice returned to me & Micromax informatics ltd. still didn’t reply me.
I again send notice to ASC on date 20th nov 2014
