Meru cabs have been running a Adv from past few days that book a cab through Mobile Apps and get 150 Rs off on your trip. I booked service on 6 dec 2014 through Mobile apps with Promo code and the total amount after the travel was Rs 160 and but no discount of Rs 150 was given to me. I enquired this from the driver he said he has no information about the discount. I enquired the same from their customer care, but they refuse the same. In Second scenario, in the same Adv they are quoting Rs 10 per km. The distance i travelled was around 5.5 kms. Therefore, the amount should not have been more than Rs 60. On that they told me that for 1st 5 kms it is flat Rs 150. This was no where informed to me at the time of booking. Even before the travel, i checked with the driver he told me that this is Rs 10/km cab. They have been clearly misleading people with their Advertisement campaign.
