Complaint Details
Iam a credit crd holder of ICICI for more than 8 years. CC Num: 462986443996****. As i have problem with funds iam making minimum payment to the ICICI bank.



Iam receiving fake calls from your bank / agency giving completely false information and PROMISES. LOOKING AT THE HAPPENINGS ITS EXTREMELY UNSAFE TO HOLD BANKING RELATIONSHIP WITH ICICI. YOUR EMPLOYEES/AGENCY IS PLAYING WITH CUSTOMER CRITICAL INFORMATION AND ABUSING THE CUSTOMER FOR NO FAULT OF CUSTOMER. SUCH A MISERABLE INCIDENT HAPPENED TO ME.



AFTER HAVING LONG RELATIONSHIP WITH ICICI THIS INCIDENT IS FORCING ME TO CLOSE THE RELATIONSHIP. ANYHOW I NEED A PROPER AND RESPONSIBLE REMEDY FROM ICICI FOR SUCH WORST CUSTOMER BETRAYAL.



EVENTHOUGH THE EMAIL IS TOO LONG PLEASE READ THE FULL POINTS AS THEY HAVE COOKED UP STORIES AND THREATENED ME TO QUIT ICICI OFFICE WHEN I WENT TO ENQUIRE THE SAME INCIDENT.



1. On 19th November 2014, at 15:00hrs (nearly) got a call from following number: +91 44 42668441

2. The caller claimed himself as Executive Ravi shankar from ICICI, Ambattur Branch,Chennai.

3. He started his conversation with no respect and commanded me the reason for delay in payment.

4. I expressed the delay is due to financial issue i have and will be settle sooner.

5. He suddenly asked me to come for a settlement for my total outstanding.

6. Infact i couldn't believe the same and asked him to call after 15 mins.

7. The same person called me and said he spoke to his manager and they have decided to give me a settlement for Rs.25,800/-

8. I enquired the huge difference and whats the advantage of bank to charge such a low amount. He expressed I being a old customer donot want to degrade my status in ICICI profile and so they are giving me special settlement.

9. Also said this I have to decide immedietely and once i accept he will report to Head office and get a settlement letter in 5 days.

10. After few minutes the same guy again called and asked whether i will make partial payment (settle in 2 installments)?

11. After few minutes i called the same number and said to arrange for settlement letter.

12. I paid a cheque for Rs.12,900/- on 20th Novemebr 2014, which was reflected in my account and no issues.

13. One Mr. Muralidharan(whose mobile number: +91 8124617553) from agency of ICICI west mambalam came and collected referring he was instructed by Ravi shankar to collect settlement chq. and the document of settlement letter will reach me in 5 days.

14. NO LETTER CAME to me and after 12 days i called up Call center of ICICI and checked whether they have generated any settlement, for my surprise they said, your profile is in normal status and no need for such settlement.



15. Last week i went to ICICI Ambattur branch and enquir for Mr. Ravi Shankar. This specific executive was reluctant to speak to me and did not come to meet me while i was waiting at ICICI ambattur office reception.



16. In the meanwhile i called again to the executive who collected the cheque from me(details mentioned in point 13). This guy bounced back and said he doesnot know anything and just came to collect the cheque.

17. IT ANNOYED ME VERY MUCH AND I WAS STILL WAITING AT ICICI RECEPTION TO MEET ANY ONE EXECUTIVE FROM CREDIT CARD RECOVERY SECTION.



18. IN THE MEANWHILE THE COLLECTION EXECUTIVE MURALIDHARAN CALLED ME AND SAID HE WAS ASKED BY HIS MANAGER THAT "I SHOULD NOT SPEAK TO ANY ONE AT YOUR ICICI OFFICE AND IMMEDIETLY QUIT THE PLACE. THE COLLECTION EXCUTIVE'S MANAGER WILL SOLVE THE CASE IF I QUIT ONLY.



19. ALSO HE SAID HIS MANAGER SAID RESPECTIVE PERSON WHO SPOKE TO ME FOR COLLECTION HAS GONE ON LEAVE AND WILL BE BACK ONLY AFTER 1 WEEK. SO AFTER HE RETURNS WILL SOLVE THE CASE AS THE MANAGER IS TOTALLY NOT AWARE OF WHAT HAPPENED.

[HEARING THIS STATEMENT I WAS SHOCKED TO THE CORE OF SUCH IRRESPONSIBLE AND UNTRUSTED MANAGERS ARE IN ICICI]

DOUBTS ARE INCREASING WHETHER MY INFORMATION ARE SAFE THERE??????????



WHOLE TELECON WAS PUT IN SPEAKER AND THE RECEPTION EXECUTIVE HEARD IT TOO AT ICICI AMBATTUR BRANCH.



20. AFTER 30-40 MINS I MET MR.JOSEPH FROM DEBT RECOVERY DEPARTMENT AND HE SAID EXPLAINED ME THE STATUS OF MINE IN ICICI RECORDS. I HAVE GOT ALL PROOF OF CALLS MADE TO THE AGENTS IN MY CALL HISTORY FROM CELL PHONE PROVIDER.



ULTIMATELY, IAM TRAPPED BY SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNTRUSTFUL EVENT OF ICICI/ITS AGENCY.



I WANT YOU TO TAKE NECESSARY ACTION AND PROVIDE SECURE MY INFORMATION RATHER CUSTOMER INFORMATION FROM SUCH FRAUDS.



WILL ICICI DO THIS? CAN I EXPECT PROFESSIONAL APPROACH AND REPLY FROM ICICI?



OR



WILL ICICI FORCE ME TO LEGAL COMPLAINTS IF I DONOT RECEIVE ANY REMEDY FROM ICICI?



THE WHOLE INCIDENT CLEARLY REVEALS ICICI HAS NO CONTROL WITH ITS OFFICE AND AGENCY AS EVERY ONE BEHAVES WITH THEIR WISH.
