Complaint Details
It was very cold in Noida on Monday night – Dec 22, 2014.
It was dense fog on the way and the windscreen started sweating.
I turned the knob for windscreen. And the time I tried to twist it to the position; it broke.
Some of the pictures are attached below for your references.
Since these days its dense fog all around so without compromising safety I was willing to get it repaired. I visited nearest Authorized service center asking repair.
But the service manager there told the part can’t be repaired/changed but the whole A/C controlling console will be replaced and customer will have to bear the cost (approx. 4500INR)
The part used is of worst quality I have encountered. The knob is meant to be twisted to adjust the position. How quality part (I am saying it a quality part since Hyundai claims its products to be of high quality cannot complete its function? On that you are asking for money for your own fault.
My car was delivered to me on Jan 6, 2012. And it is under warranty.
