I paid Key furniture Rs.32000 during an exhibition in Chennai trade Centre on 15th November 2014 for 3 items (Sofa, centre table and computer chair). Sofa and centre table were delivered within 2 days as promised. However, they haven't delivered the chair yet (more than two and half months over now) for which I had made 100% payment in advance (Rs.6500). I have been following up continuously on the contact numbers given in the bill, all these days. They promise to deliver the chair the very next day every time I call, but they never did that. While it is their responsibility to deliver the goods for the payment they have taken, they have never called me to inform me about their plan for the delivery, or the reason for delay. Every time I have to call them and provide the order details, only to be given an assurance every time that the item would be delivered the very next day. This has been going on for the past two and half months, which gives me the feeling that the brand is cheating me intentionally. I even took the pain to visit their godown on a Saturday evening only to find it closed. I would now like to get my money back, as it doesn't make sense to give such cheaters business, even if they agree to deliver the chair, after my complaint. I would also request to impose a penalty on them for cheating a customer all these months, if the law permits. I am ready to donate the additional amount I receive, if any, to the Government.
