My details
I am a Videocon D2H customer. With

Name : Vinay Kurella
Cell Number : 95000 77195

Concern on the unethical practices by Videocon
I am currently on South silver package worth 180/- net.
And Videocon team from back end has activated few of these channels / package without my request of HD package worth 150/- from 29.Jan.2015.

And post speaking to them for 26 minutes got the clarity
ï‚§ That they have committed a mistake from their team
 They don’t have the recorded message of my request but have processed it by themselves.

How did I come to know
ï‚§ And I had recharged for 1,500 rupees
ï‚§ As I am aware that my package is 180/- rupees net per month hence the validity should come till 8 month from February which is till October. But the msg came that your validity is till June (scree shot attached)
ï‚§ Which made me to call and wait to get connect to the Team leader of Videocon and speak to him. No one in the telephonic mannerism keeps a customer on hold for more than 1 minute but they have kept me on hold for more than 15 minutes. (scree shot attached)


I will need your support in making sure that they have not done the similar unethical practices with any other customer. No has time to check, verify or to hold for 15 minutes during working time to speak and clarify. If they have done this with 1000 more customer which means that they have gained 1,50,000/- rupees for services which are not asked by customer and the customer is not aware of the same.

Providing an example for easy understanding
1 customer they overcharge for the tune of 150 per month, per year they make 1,800/- rupees
100 customers, per annum revenue 1,80,000 rupees
1000 customers, per annum revenue 18,00,000 rupees

For a service which has never been asked for by the customer.

I would request you to kindly take the necessary steps in auditing the complete recharge done by Videocon on customers and sue them for their mistakes.

I would like to be compensated with 1 Lakh for their mistake and unethical practices. Helping them to know that all customers cant be fooled and
They should also know that we have councils which are built for the fairness in Business Practices. Like that of CFBP which are doing really wonderful job in the same field in the best interest of the customers.
