I'm Prasanta Ruidas from Durgapur.I purchased VFM Bbattery for TVS PEPT SCOOTY from BALAJI SPARES as old battery had not been working properly. The Owner of the shop may be nick name LALU DA told me the price Rs. 1,000/ and the old battery (TVS)he kept.The above buying process was occurred as on 14.10.2014 & he gave me a bill of Rs.1,000/- , cash memo no-447 & VFM Battery Serial No.-E1201758.After one & half month I noticed that the battery was not functioning properly that means the battery release the charge when self start TVS Scooty.Now in the month of january,2015 My wife faced big problem that the Scooty not stared by Self-start system. When press the self switch many times the battery sound reducing & She started the scooty by Kicking.Its very difficult to kick-start by a lady.Then I went BALAJI SPARES & told the problem.I got response that the battery was ok & generally new battery problem not created and he also told me check the scooty to a Mistri (Technical Person). Then I came to Muchipara & visited a Mistri (Name-Rasid), Mr. Rasid told me it was a battery problem that the battery was releasing the charge when pressing self-start switch.Again I went BALAJI SPARES that day, LALU DA told me the battery was 100% ok. Disappointingly I returned to my home.Then in the month of february,2015 I visited another Mistri (Technical Person)at kaliganj more. I told the problem. He firstly servicing my Scooty & advised me to change relay. I do as he told. I purshase a new genuine relay though the old one in good condition. After doing all these same problem arise that after first time starting by self, the batter was releasing charge. Then the Mistri installed the old battery (another Motor Cycle)as a result my Scooty easily self started, no hackle found. Then immediately I went with old installed battery to BALAJI SPARES and told all these. That time LALU DA was not there & his care taker (Don't know name)kept my battery for checking as on 03.02.2015 & told came tomorrow afternoon. On sunday (7.2.2015)I again visit & LALU DA told we charge the battery but it shows 12.87 v. The batter is good condition. But I repeatedly told charge is ok but it was releasing charge & can not able to handle load.He said it was not manufacturing problem.We can not liable for this.Again I disappointing & I thought WHAT IS VALUE FOR MONEY? WHAT IS AFTER SALE SERVICE? Though LALUDA told me 6 months guaranty & 1 yeas warranty. LALU DA wrote in a blank sheet that the battery checked ok & put a signature.
Lastly went TVS Authorused Servicing Centre “JEET TVS SERVICING CENTRE” at Durgapur. The service person check the battery by meter & press the button of self-start. He said battery was defective that cannot bear Load . He also said Battery charge is 12 volt, when pick up battery is charging but at the time of self start the charge down ie 5-6 volt. Minimum charge will be 10 volt. Then I make a phone call to LALU DA and make a communication to the TVS Guy. After ending communication I told please replace the battery (as he told 6 month guaranty) but he told me again submit the battery.
In this circumstance I angry & purchase New AMARON Battery & my TVS Scooty start smoothly with no hassel.

NOTE:-
1. What about Warranty or Gurranty?
2. When they checked battery for 4 days, just wrote in the blank paper Battery OK. No company writing pad . Why LALUDA not sent battery to VFM Company Service to check battery.
3. What about value of time, money,tension etc?
4. The legal authority should step for this type of Company , Dealers & Retailers.
