On 21/07/2013 near about 10PM, I had to visit Arihant hospital, Gurgaon sec-57 . I needed help as a insect had entered my ear.
But the treatment i got in the hospital was very disappointing and "unhealthy".
Dr. Prakash ( I think) was on night duty and he seemed totally ignorant about such procedure.
As i understand that in such a case there are two basic rules which all doctors (even non-experts) follow:

Don't insert anything in the ear as it may push the bug even deeper.
Once the bug out, make sure that all parts of the bug are removed so that there is nothing left in the ear which might cause infection.

But doctor violated both these rules.
As i reached your hospital. first thing doctor did was put a scissors wrapped with cotton in my ear. When i suggested that he should use a liquid "solution" to flush it out . He pour some solution in my ear but didn't wait for the bug to die. He didn't care if it was dead or alive and start working with his scissors again.

Even when I told me that he was hurting me, he suggested that I keep quite and let him do his work.

After 10 minutes of his attempts he finally told me that he has crushed bugs into pieces and showed me a small part of the bug. Then he proudly mentioned that it will get out of my ear eventually with time.

So he left the bug inside my ear to rot and probably cause some infection. To me it seems that he had no idea what he was doing. Bug is still in my ear somewhere, where he pushed into some deeper parts.

I didn't expect this kind of treatment from a hospital, it was not a road-side shabby clinic. But my experience was worse. After that he tried to gave me an injection and measure my blood pressure (?) which I refused. And finally i was charged approx. RS 1000 for all my agony.

After all this i felt disappointed and harassed.
