Complaint Details
I had bought E ticket for 3 adults and one child from make my trip .com E ticket ID-NN230367204507(copy attached) on 4th February 2015 for travel from Hyderabad Rajeev Gandhi International Airport to Jeddah.
The ticket had no information about luggage.
When my family arrived at the RGIA airport, fly Dubai counter , the first shock came in the form of cash required for luggage and the counter staff asking for Rs.780/- per kg for carrying luggage up to Jeddah.
We were not carrying cash and the counter person insisted for cash. At 1.00AM we called a friend and brought Rs.35,000/- to pay. Out of 4 travelers only 2 adults had return ticket as they were returning after a week. My wife and the child was supposed to travel after some time therefore they were not carrying return ticket.
Fly Dubai staff insisted on their return ticket otherwise he said he will not allow them to board.
I tried to buy the ticket on line but he gave only 15 minutes and closed the counter.
My family had to return back home. I bought from Make my trip Air India Business class ticket for Rs.107000/- for 27th February evening flight. Air India officials did not ask for any return ticket and my family arrive in Jeddah.
I want “Make my trip / Fly Dubai to return my money of Rs.70000/- or else I shall file a court complain.
I want strict action against the people / staff of Fly Dubai such that they will not repeat this kind of behavior with other innocent passengers.
