I visited the Big Bazaar on 11/3/2015 and bought some products. I have been a regular customer of this store at Panipat. My grievance is that one product, Namely "Nilon Ginger Garlic Paste" on which the MRP is printed Rs.55 and Buy one get one scheme was applicable. I bought two pieces of the product (1+1 scheme). I paid the bill but after two days i found that i have been charged thrice the MRP of the product and despite writing emails to the big bazaar consumer helpline email, i have not recieved any responsible reply from them.
I wonder how many more customers have been duped by the Big Bazaar on the same product. They feel that they are above the law of the country. But i have made up my mind that i am going to drag them before the appropriate consumer forum as they have clearly violated the guidelines of the Consumer protection Act. The photos of the product and the bill are attached along with this communication. Instead of charging Rs. 55 from me, they have charged Rs.158.20(Thrice the MRP). Kindly make sure that this wrongful act on the part of Big Bazaar is dealt with sternly as i am sure that they have duped many people.( The photographs of the original products and the bill is attached). I have written to the Big Bazaar Customer care twice, but no reply has come from thier side. They think that they have attained a status which is above the consumer laws of India.
