Complaint Details
I purchased an split AC of Samsung on 5/4/2014. Within a week of purchase the cooling stopped all together. The service representative who came refilled the gas and said it was because of a faulty connection nut. After that I used the AC for a month where it worked with reducing cooling. Subsequently, I asked them to come for a service on 21/3/2015. When the service guy came he showed me that the date of purchase of the AC as per their records was 20/1/2014. I showed him the purchase invoice from the dealer which mentioned the date of purchase as 5/4/2014. I have been following up with Samsung regarding the same. I have not received any follow ups from them except new stories every time. I want to know how is it that they have a different date of purchase. In addition the AC is faulty with gas leakage happening every 15 days. I can send across the invoice copy of the dealer which mentions the date of purchase as 5/4/2014. The company now tells me that the gas leakage is not covered under warranty and I have to bear the cost since the date of purchase as per their records is 20/1/2014
