Dear Mam/Sir,
I had purchased an LG front loading washing machine from the Reliance Digital outlet in Banjara Hills on March 23, 2015. Tariq was the sales man. While purchasing i has clearly asked him will the hard water affect the washing machine (since we have hard water supply in our society). He said no it doesnt. Its a stainless steel druma nd nothing happens to it. The detergent softens the water for a better wash quality.
I got the delivery on March 25 and the installation happened on March 26. The technician Mahesh was very good and explained me everything about the machine. He suggested that i should buy and extended 2 yrs warranty which was also offered in store and i brought that. Then he asked if i wanted a trolley which i had initially refused but later on my husband's recommendation asked him to order for one which was delivered even before he left. This was amazing service. Then he mentioned that I should get a water softer attachment as the hard water will scale the drum. This attachment costed INR 1500. I had already spent (21990 on the machine+1200 on the trolley+300 for extended warranty). Now the additional cost of 1500 shook me. I had clearly asked before making the purchase about this but i was assured that hard water will not affect the machine and I explained this to Mahesh who immediately connected me to his supervisor Wazid over phone and me, Wazid, Sushil (Reliance Banjara Hills-After Sales Support) and Tariq were on a call. (Mind it if you tried calling the store the number will either but always busy or there would be no response). Tariq accused Mahesh of being a sales man trying to sell his products (Mahesh would have better technical knowledge versus Tariq being just a sales person) on which Wajid corrected him and told him how Tariq had shared wrong information with me. I told Sushil you either bear the expense of the attachment or you immediately take the machine away or you replace the Drum once it scales. He said he will do neither since this is a regular wear an tear of the machine. The warranty from Reliance promises part replacement and/or fixing in case of issues. Finally there was no conclusion to the call.
So i decided to write to you for your help and guidance to get them straight. How can they fool a consumer like this by giving wrong information. Every one has a budget suddenly my 22k machine now costs be about 27k! Agrees the 4200 was by choice but this 1500 who will pay for it ??? Why should i pay when i was assured that hard water wont affect the machine. I am using the machine now but i wonder how many customers have been cheated like me ?? Attached is the bill for your reference.

PS: Apparently the bills says we are eligible for a lucky draw as well but no body has mentioned to us anything about it.
