I have bought a Videocon Fridge (VZ225USC) on March 15, 2015 by paying a ready cash of Rs. 15000/- + Card Payment of Rs. 1500/- = Rs. 16, 500/-, Bill no : 0000023.
Same day evening they have delivered the product and we found that freezer box was completely bent - Therefore, immediately called Vasanth & Co and informed that Fridge Freezer is damaged, Shop manager and the sales boy were convincing saying that this is how it is designed.... Realized that these guys are sounding completely ridiculous and went to the showroom directly.... Explained them by showing the other Fridge which was there in the showroom.. Finally they accepted that it is manufacturing defect and accepted for replacement..... Second time delivery transportation charges were collected again from me though the mistake @ their end.
Now, this replacement product is again with other damages... (could not see @ showroom as they are opening the pack only when they are delivering, also the delivery person refused to open & show the product for quality check @ both times)..... The door boxes were not closing and it was hanging like swinging thing... And immediately i called Vasanth & Co and asking whether they have sent any old piece as door boxes are not fit and damaged... Vasanth & Co Manager and the sales person is trying to act smart and made me to liaise with Videocon service centre guys (THIS IS COMPLETE RIDICULUOS AS HOW CAN THE CUSTOMER APPROACH THE SERVICE CENTER FOR THE JUST BOUGHT NEW PRODUCT).... Have contacted the service center team... They sent the person after two days and took photographs of the damaged part and said they will be updating the details shortly - Complaint Number @ Videocon : CHE1603150175, Service Man : Jabaselvan - 9003117103, Service Center number : 9884460679).... After a week also there is no update from the Videocon nor from the Vasanth & Co.... From next day Fridge was not working and completely cooling was not happening.
Hence, we decided to walk in again to the Vasanth & Co showroom and go for an alternate company i,e to buy a Whirlpool Fridge by paying an additional amount... But Manager refused to accept the company change as we have crossed seven days TAT it seems.... But how will the normal customer will know all this stuff... They were sounding completely non sense as just trying to avoid this deal.... Finally with no other go, have agreed to wait for a replacement again on the same useless Videocon Fridge..... Days passed and again no courtesy to update the status from Videocon nor from the Vasanth & Co’s end.... They both made me to call them several times to follow on this... Finally one day Videocon sent a other service man on 04/04/2015 ... Who came and said that the door boxes were damaged and GAS was completely leaked in this fridge..hence company will arrange for the replacement.... And till now there is no further update or courtesy call from Vasanth & Co as well as from videocon... Really worrying for choosing this Videocon product & useless showroom Vasanth & Co.
I am undergoing complete mental agony - expecting the Vasanth & Co to replace the fridge immediately and with Rs.10, 000 compensation for making the customer to undergo such mental torture, also for not giving proper service/ response to the customers.
