Complaint Details
I ordered perfume on snap deal which had freebies- 2 samples of luxury perfumes. The order that was delivered to me had no freebies and the box of the perfume was open (i.e., There was no cellophane covering over the box). I had complaint about the same on their mentioned email address. They offered 400INR as compensation for the missing freebies. However i was more keen on having the original sealed box of perfume and had asked for the replacement of the same. Shockingly the replaced perfume was the same opened box that i had replaced and again sent without the freebies- they had simply repacked the same perfume in the open box and sent it back to me ( I can claim that since the price of the perfume had reduced and the difference was credited in my account as snap deal cash BUT the bill sent to me with replaced perfume was with same old price). Frustrated and disappointed i called back again on their customer service number, where the executives were extremely rude and had only two solutions - refund or replace. They had cheeks to opt for replacement option without my permission and had requested for reverse pickup on my behalf. When i called to check them on why did they do so the customer service executive this time simply hanged up my call. I am very sure they sell either first copy of fake perfumes or else why would the perfumes do not have cellophane plastic covering over the box in the similar way the perfumes have when we buy it from malls or shops? I wonder why do their agents have to open the cellophane covering while sending to the customer?
