Sir,
Recently (at 7:48 p.m. on 19th May, 2015) I got the following message on my reliance mobile (no. 9832460853)
Amount Charged for VAS One97 Subscrip Rs:5.00.
Current Main Balance : Rs:2.09
When I checked my balance it had really reduced to 2.09. I knew that I had not subscribed to any such VAS. The same incident has happened twice before and on contacting customer care I have been refunded the amount. So I contacted customer care (198).
The first few calls said, "This route is busy, please try again later". After few calls the call connected to customer care and I tried to contact a representative (by dialing 9 twice and 1 once). The phone kept on ringing but no one received it. Frustrated I disconnected the call. When I tried to call customer care again (I am trying to call even now while typing, with the same result) it said the same message, "This route is busy, please try again later".
Already they have reduced Rs. 5 from my account for something which I have not asked for. Moreover they are not receiving my call; even the call is not connecting, it says the busy message.
I want reliance to refund the Rs. 5 that have been reduced. I also want them to make their customer service better. These will be good for both them and me.
[I should also get back some extra money for the problems that I have faced (Though I am not interested in such compensation. :-) :-) Written just for fun. I will be more then happy if I get my Rs. 5 back in my account.)]
