With respect to loan account no. 768898 (Personal Loan in the name of Sh. BRIJ MOHAN GUPTA,my father) held with HDB FS LTD, I wish to bring to the kind notice of the concerned officials that I have submitted the request for fore-closure on 25/05/2015 in Dehradun Branch office.

The fore-closure statement issued to me contains the foreclosure charges @ 4.49% (including tax).

This is a matter of serious concerns because as per the RBI guidelines, all NBFCs are directed not to levy any sort of fore-closure charges on loans sanctioned to individual borrowers.

Thus, please may I request the HDB financial services concerned officials to issue me a written reply wherein the charges are justified as per the RBI norms.

It is therefore requested to take the matter seriously and take corrective action at the earliest.
