Dear sir,
I paid my credit card dues through my wife"s cheque in oct 2014 and icici bank replied that it was rejected due to insufficient funds. I told them return the cheque and take a cheque.They did not properly respond .They dragged till now and want that i should pay pay ment with interest.Actually the account had sufficient funds and i submitted my wife"s a/c statement also.I contacted no of time but bank not responding to my proposal of paying original amount and continue relation ship but they are not agreeing . PNB (My wifes banker given a a letter saying they over looked code nos as there is no signature on that.My question is that why did not reurn cheque when there is no sign ?why did they sent for clerance? In this way icici bank made a mistake and telling me to pay fine for that. i AM ATTACHING FEW COMMUNICATIONS WITH THEM.
