Complaint Details
Last July I spend Rs 50 lakhs buying a Mercedes Benz E-200 from the only Mercedes dealer in Mumbai, Auto-Hangar.
Since day 1, each time I press or release the brakes, a annoying sound is made. The same sound is made when I reverse the car.
I complained in writing, at least a dozen times to both Mercedes India and Germany. Mercedes examined my car a couple of times and said that at as it was operational noise there was nothing Mercedes could do about it. Mercedes cars all over the world make no noise at all.
I am worried that if I use my brakes and they do not work who would be responsible for the accident and or loss of life.
Like the case of Nestle-Maggi , why does India allow the world to sell sub-standard products to us.
I would like your help in making sure that not only Mercedes but no other multinational should dare to sell us inferior products.
