SIR/MADAM,
DURING MY VISIT TO DELHI I WENT TO THE SHOP OF INDIAN CRAFT DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ,WHERE I BOOKED AN ITEM(BED COVER SET)WORTH 2850(ORDER NO:1401 DATED:1.5.15).SINCE I WAS NOT CARRYING SUFFICIENT CASH WITH ME I MADE AN ADVANCE PAYMENT OF RS. 1000 IN CASH AND THE SALES PERSON ,NAMED ABHISHEK, ASSURED ME THAT I CAN DEPOSIT THE DUE AMOUNT LATER ON AND CAN CONFIRM HIM AFTER DEPOSITING THE MONEY ,ONLY AFTER THAT HE WILL DISPATCH THE GOODS. I DEPOSITED DUE AMOUNT OF RS:1850 THROUGH CASH IN THEIR HDFC BANK(SAKET BRANCH) ACCOUNT NUMBER THROUGH HDFC MEDINIPORE BRANCH ON 5.5.15. I CONFIRMED ABHISHEK ON THAT SAME DATE. HE SAID BY 6.5.15 HE WILL CHECK THE BANK DETAILS AND DO THE NECESSARY.AFTER THAT I CALLED HIM (HIS CONTACT NUMBER :08470902929) MANY TIMES TO KNOW THE STATUS OF THE ORDER. HE STARTED GIVING EXCUSES 1) SHOP WAS CLOSED SO THE GOOD COULD NOT BE DISPATCHED,2) HE WAS ILL SO HE WAS ON LEAVE SO SO THE GOOD COULD NOT BE DISPATCHED,3) HE WAS OUT OF DELHI SO AND SO.LASTLY HE SENT SMS TO MY CONTACT NUMBER REQUESTING ME TO CONTACT THE LAND LINE NUMBER AS HE WAS OUT OF DELHI( THE NUMBER GIVEN IN THE ORDER FORM WAS NOT FUNCTIONING).I HAVE CALLED THIS PERSON ALMOST 10 TIMES ON 5TH, ,19TH,21ST,27TH MAY TO KNOW ABOUT THE GOOD SOMETIMES HE DIDN'T ANSWER AND SOMETIMES HE DID ANSWER. HE ALSO CALLED ON 11TH AND 22ND MAY TO TELL ALL THESE EXCUSES OR TO ASSURE ME. I CALLED ON THE LAND LINE NUMBER TO HEAR ALL THE EXCUSES 1) PROBLEM IN COURIER SERVICE,2) ABHISHEK IS ON LEAVE. ETC. I CALLED IN THE LAND NO(011-29523989) MORE THAN 10 TIMES IN BETWEEN 19TH MAY TO 10.6.15. IN BETWEEN SOMEONE AT THE COUNTER INFORMED THAT THE COLOUR OF THE PRODUCT I OPTED FOR WAS BNOT AVAILABLE HENCE IT COULD NOT BE SENT I REQUESTED SEND A DIFFERENT COLOUR WHICH HE AGREED AND ON 29TH MAY HE CALLED FROM THE LAND LINE AND SAID THE GOOD WAS READY BUT THE MANAGER WANTED TO CONFIRM ABOUT THE PAYMENT MADE AFTER GOING THROUGH THE BANK STATEMENT WHICH FOR THE MONTH OF MAY THEY ARE LIKELY TO RECEIVE WITHIN 1ST OR 2ND JUNE AND THAT HE WILL CONFIRM ME THROUGH PHONE. BUT EVEN AFTER 7TH I RECEIVED NO CALL, THE PERSON THEN GAVE ME TWO NUMBERS 09911333888/09911888333OF MR. SUSHIL KUMAR TEGI, PROBABLY OWNER OR SOMETHING, AFTER CALLING HIM ON 8.6.15 HE ASKED ME TO SMS THE ORDER NUMBER AND THAT HE WILL INFORM ABOUT THE STATUS ON 9.6.15. AGAIN I RECEIVED NO CALL ON 9TH. EVEN MR. TEGI'S NUMBERS WERE NOT REACHABLE TOO.I CONTACTED THE LANDLINE NUMBER BUT NOBODY IS PICKING UP THE PHONE FROM MONDAY ONWARD i.e FROM 8.6.15 TO 10.6.15. SO I AM AT A LOSS NOW. I CAME BACK TO WEST BENGAL ON 2.5.15 AND I DON'T HAVE ANYONE IN DELHI FROM WHOM I CAN GET HELP. IT'S HUMILIATING, TIME CONSUMING, PAINSTAKING, EMOTIONALLY EXHAUSTING WHAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH.I FEEL I HAVE BEEN CHEATED EVEN THOUGH I HAVE PAID THE MONEY.
I WILL BE HIGHLY OBLIGED IF YOU KINDLY LOOK INTO THIS MATTER.
