My name is Niranjan M. Thakur- proprietor of M/S Aaryan Tours & Travels, Virar (East). I had booked Maruti Swift Dezire Tour LDI from Spectra Motors - Goregaon (West) on 1st April 2015 by making a cheque payment of Rs.1,26,750/- (booking no.- 508-39085). I had done the booking through an aquaintance of mine Mr. Sachin Kholamkar who personally knew one of the marketing staff at Spectra Motors- Goregaon. Till then I had not visited Spectra Motors - Goregaon (West) nor spoken to anyone there.

As I was purchasing the vehicle on loan I had submitted all my documents to Spectra Motors – Goregaon. I was under the impression my loan procedure is in progress. As I was not called or contacted by anyone from Spectra- Goregaon for 20 days on 21st April 2015 I myself called the landline no. of Spectra- Goregaon & with some effort got the name & contact no. of Mr. Ravindra Jadhav who was the marketing person who was my point of contact. It is ridiculous & shocking that after making a payment of Rs.1,26,750/-no one from Spectra Motors - Goregaon (West) even bothered to call me for 20 days (my entire file of documents were with Spectra Motors - Goregaon (West)).

When I called Mr. Ravindra Jadhav he said my file was put up in 2 banks (SBI & IDBI) & it got rejected. Does it take 20 days? May be, I have no idea. BUT If I had not called would I ever be have contacted & when, is a big QUESTION MARK. Then I was told that some other banks would be approached as I wanted to avail a loan on low rate of interest, to which I agreed. I waited for 7 more days but again no response or call from anyone from Spectra Motors - Goregaon (West). When I called Mr. Ravindra Jadhav on 27thApril, 2015 he said my work is getting delayed because I want the loan on low rate of interest & its not happening. But in these & days I didn’t receive a single call from SPECTRA –Goregaon. From 20th April to 27th April 2015 what process was done & which banks were approched is again a big QUESTION MARK. . I got completely frustrated & requested Mr. Ravindra Jadhav to do the loan from a private Finance at high rate of interest as almost a month had past after making a payment of Rs.1,26,750/- & almost nothing had been done. He said that it can easily be done from Mahindra Finance but at a higher rate of interest to which I agreed.

Logically my file should have been put up in Mahindra Finance immediately. Any ways I received a call for home verification & it was done by Mahindra Finance in the 1st week of May, 2015. My loan was sanctioned & on 14th May, 2015 I signed the loan agreement & completed all the formalities with Mahindra Finance executive Mr. Deepak Vishwakarma. So it took almost 17 days (from 28th April,2015 to 14th May, 2015) for the process to happen. I availed a loan of only Rs.2,50,000/- & decided to make the balance payment myself. And considering everything is done and my loan will be disbursed at the earliest I made a payment of Rs. 2,62,913/- on 30th May 2015.

In the loan process I did not receive any help or support from Spectra Motors. I had to personally visit the Mahindra finance office at Vasai thrice and phone them several times to get my work done. Technically Spectra motors Goregaon is the broker through whom the loan is Sanctioned through Mahindra Finance and they will be receiving 1% brokerage on my loan amount, So it was their moral duty to get the loan processed faster . But I did not even receive 1% help from their end, not even with the name of the processing officer. I personally went to Vasai and collected all the information.

Then a new problem arose, my loan was sanctioned but was not getting disbursed. There again I visited Mahindra finance Vasai Branch numerous times and called them continuously for disbursement. There was no co-ordination at all between Spectra Motors Goregaon and Mahindra finance and Spectra Motors did not render any help to me even though they were the brokers. Then Mr. Deepak Vishwakarma from Mahindra finance went on leave and my disbursement process was completely blocked. I visited Spectra Goregaon who seemed completely helpless and were even not able to give me another point of contact in his absence. They were completely blank and unaware what should be done in such circumstances. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable from a big name like Spectra Motors. Then I used my sources and got in touch with the territory manager of Mahindra Finance Mr. Milind Patil and got my Loan disbursed within 12 hours on 9th June 2015 . Spectra Motors was completely unaware of the Senior Management of Mahindra Finance.

Today is 27th June, 2015 and I have no knowledge whatsoever about the status of the delivery of my Swift Desize tour vehicle. Even now after repeated calls and messages I’m receiving no response from Spectra Motors Goregaon and they have been using my Rs.1,26,750 from almost last 2 months and 27 days for which I’m paying interest. Even the balance payment of Rs. 2,62,913/- was cleared on 30th May 2015 after which 29 days have passed. I had high regards and respect for Spectra Motors which have been shattered. I think I have done a big blunder by booking my car through Spectra motors and referring it to my friend (Sanil Patil proprietor of M/s. Patil travels booking no- 508-39087 ) for booking the same vehicle Swift Dsire tour on the same day i.e. 1st April, 2015. I will henceforth never book nor suggest anyone the name of Spectra Motors.

Finally all said and done. I even sent mails to the senior management (Ms. Jalpa Mehta) who I was told is the G.M. but nor have I received a call from any senior person nor my mail was replied. this is terribly unprofessional.I am just called by Mr. Ravindra Jadhav who keeps on giving me excuses& false commitments of vehicle delivery.


I would now request your senior management to personally look into the matter take prompt action and instruct Spectra Motors Goregaon to act professional and ethically and deliver both the vehicles (Swift Dsize Tour Vehicles) at the earliest.
