Complaint Details
We applied for grant of an industrial plot in Addn. Ambernath MIDC area. Our application was listed at seniority no. 54. The application was never placed in front of the Land allotment Committee and was consequently returned with the comment that no land was available. In fact 89 hectares of land was allotted to different entities including those with lesser seniority than our application.
IDC is a service provider in that it acquires land, develops it into industrial plots and then distributes it in appropriate sized plots to would be entrepreneurs wishing to start a manufacturing factory. The corporation is thus no different than a private land developer who does similar things and is subject to consumer protection laws.
