On 22nd January 2016, I placed an order for a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop Dell Rechargeable Li-ion battery Type No. X284G Rating 10.8V Capacity 48Wh (which came originally fitted with the my said laptop on purchase) with one Ms. Monica Bhatia of authorised Dell Exclusive Store viz..M/s. D B Informatics Pvt. Ltd., I-12, Sector-10, DLF Model Town, Faridabad, Haryana. On the same day i.e. 22-01-2016 one Ms. Kanchan of the aforesaid M/s. D B Informatics Pvt. Ltd. confirmed the delivery on 23rd of the same battery, but when contacted they delivered another Dell Rechargeable Li-ion battery Type No. RN873 Rating 11.1V Capacity 56Wh against my cash payment of Rs. 3000/- (Rupees Three thousand only) vide their (M/s. D B Informatics Pvt. Ltd.) Cash / Tax Invoice No. 1316 dated 23rd January, 2016, inter alia stating that the said new laptop battery i.e. Dell Rechargeable Li-ion battery Type No. RN873 Rating 11.1V Capacity 56Wh is meant for the said Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop which they also mentioned in their aforesaid Cash / Tax Invoice and they further assured of immediate replacement in case of any problem. But unfortunately upon installation the said new Dell Rechargeable Li-ion battery Type No. RN873 Ratting 11.1V Capacity 56Wh battery is found defective as not charging in my aforesaid Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop, whereas upon getting checked up by different computer personnel in the market other batteries including the earlier original aforesaid battery are getting duly charged in the said Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop functioning properly without showing any problem. Photograph of the said Cash / Tax Invoice No. 1316 dated 23rd January, 2016 for Rs.3000/- (Rupees three thousand only) showing “Dell Battery FOR DELL INSPIRON 1545 ORDER NO: SHMAA1000578P21RH P/N: WW116 Type no.- RN 873 (1 yr warranty)” issued by the aforesaid Dell Exclusive Store viz..M/s. DB Informatics Pvt. Ltd., I-12, Sector-10, DLF Model Town, Faridabad Haryana, Photograph of aforesaid new battery Type No.RN873 Ratting 11.1V Capacity 5.6Wh and the earlier Dell battery Type No. X284G Rating 10.8V Capacity 48Wh (which came originally fitted with the said Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop) are being sent herewith for doing the needful and redressal of my grievance. Despite repeated requests they are neither replacing the battery nor giving refund of payment. In the process I am feeling harassed as a customer due to the non-redressal of my grievance and non-cooperative and harassing attitude of the aforesaid authorisd Dell Exclusive Store viz..M/s. DB Informatics Pvt. Ltd. It is therefore requested to get the needful done for replacement of the battery by a new and functional one or else refund of payment for redressal of my grievance at the earliest.
