Good Evening
I am Kaushik Dutta a Flipkart customer from ages who has bought products worth lakhs from Flipkart (check my purchase history using my e-mail : er.kaushik@gmail.com & kamalinibose@gmail.com), however, I strongly feel that your team does not care about loyal customers neither do you.
I have heard from many that you do not respond to customer emails yet I am trying my luck by writing to you and this e-mail would also be used a legal evidence in case I decide to pursue this case further.
To cut the long story short, I had purchased a product "Victorian Clothing Printed Georgette Women's Kaftan" via Order ID # OD105336597670155000 on 26th February 2016 and it was supposed to be delivered to me today i.e. 5th March 2016 before 7 PM. It was shipped via Ekart logistics, Tracking # FMPP1627112620.
Till today afternoon, it was showing "Expected At Budhigere Sort Facility" and that was the update from 3rd March 2016. Hence, I called and spoke with Ankita who very promptly informed that since the delivery date is today whatsoever it would get delivered today before 7 PM. I was happy to hear that.
Till 6:55 PM IST, I did not receive any update and hence called your so called customer care and they informed that the shipment has got delayed. I spoke with Faizal and then with Gaurav from Escalations who were of no help absolutely. This is what happens when you hire industry rejects.
My question is why was I not informed about the delay proactively and neither did I receive any message till I called you guys. Since you confirmed that the product would be delivered today, I took a day's leave and stayed back at home to receive it. This is absolute wrong advertising and fraudulent way of business practice. This was supposed to be a gift for someone and your delay and no information has created a very strong deterrent in my mind about doing further business with Flipkart.
