Complaint Details
I am 82 years old pensioner holding Pension Payment Order(PPO) No..618089800868.The CPPC is expected to credit my monthly pensions as per the PPOs received from the CPAO,New Delhi as and when received. However the CPPC did not regularize my pensions as and when PPOs are received from 01-01-2006 till the end of April,2016 and after more than 9 months calculated that they paid an excess amount of RS.50,657 and started recovering Rs2000 p.m from my total pension of about Rs 10,000 p.m without any notice to me till to-date.This arbitrary action for no fault mine is causing financial hardship to me and against principles of natural justice. In similar cases the Hon"able Madras High court in W.P.No.8037 of 2005 & Hon"able Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.11527 0f 20014 ruled that deductions made with out providing reasonable opportunity is not legally sustainable and ordered to stop recoveries and refund the amounts already recovered. Hence I request that the CPPC, SBI, Hyderabad may kindky be advised to stop recoveries and refund the amount already recovery as per the law of the land. Regards.
