Sony Electronics - Appalling products and equally disgusting after Sales service! Having a harrowing time getting my Sony Bravia 32 Inches Led TV repaired for no fault of ours. First shock came in when suddenly we noticed change in colors which gradually turned into completely negative images with bad visibility. We took our TV to the Service Centre and were shocked to know that complete Main Board will be replaced costing us around Rs 8500! Somehow we tried to come in terms with the expense and paid the centre. But it didn't end there. Just a within a week of taking our TV home, it stopped working again with just LED lights blinking. Here came another visit to the service centre and another blow! This time, our display panel has gone off and needs to be replaced costing around Rs 14000!!!! Is it really worth first buying a TV for Rs 50000 and then spend another 25000 on repairs? They should have ideally replaced the Panel for free as its complete responsibility of the company if all of their parts are faulty! Our TV panel got faulty as soon as they installed the new Main Board! Even the branch manager Arvind Choudhary casually expressed his helplessness on the whole issue! Hope this reaches the higher authorities of Sony!
